Cap Juluca, Anguilla, B.W.I.

Coastal Systems International, Inc. designed and permitted a project to restore 2,000 feet of shoreline in Maunday's Bay and provide direct access from the hotel to the beach through permanent stairways. Within four months of the initial site investigation, Coastal Systems was able to evaluate the shoreline erosion and accretion resultant from the storm surge and wave climate that had an adverse impact upon the beach during Hurricane Luis. Upon implementation of the project, which involved the dredging of 35,000 cubic yards of sandfill from an offshore sandbar, full-time construction administration was provided to ensure complete restoration of the beach and dune system fronting the hotel.
